The James Gang is proud to return as an Official Charity Program partner for the fourth year for the 2027 Boston Marathon!

We will have 5 invitational bibs available for runners who want to take on the Boston Marathon while supporting The James Gang’s mission of inclusion, opportunity, and rare disease research. We also warmly welcome qualified runners who already have their own entry and would like to join Team James Gang.

James Gang runners are responsible for a fundraising minimum of $8,500 and the B.A.A. registration fee of $375. The Boston Athletic Association requires all fundraising to be completed through the GivenGain platform.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so we encourage interested runners to apply early.

As part of Team James Gang, runners receive James Gang apparel, team support throughout the fundraising and training season, and an invitation to our pre-race team dinner before Marathon Monday.
